Remote Data Backup (also known as Offsite Data Backup, Online Backup, Web Backup, Internet Backup) allows you to run backups of your files and databases (such as those on a laptop, workstation or server) and store the backups off-site – via the Internet. There are no tapes to deal with, and you can have peace of mind knowing backups are available for restore 24/7. Most files can be restored within minutes, without the need to call a support number, or request a backup tape to be loaded.
We offer 2 versions of the Remote Data Backup software.
- Lite version - as shown in the flash demo below. It is extremely simple to configure and use, but does not compromise on security. It is great for traveling laptop users and normal desktop computers.
- Advanced version - offers much more functionality, including backup to both local/remote, SQL Server plugin, Exchange Server plugin, MySQL plugin, Oracle plugin, Lotus Notes plugin, open file backup, system state backup, and restoration of NTFS permissions.
